Class Title:  Seeing Double-Knitting

Teacher Name: Jolie A. Elder

Class Length: 3 hours

Class Fee: $50.00

Class Day/Time: Friday, 4:00pm to 7:00pm

Class Description:

Double-knitting (i.e. reversible stockinette) is an unfairly feared technique that produces a flat fabric with no wrong side. While it can be used for a whole garment, it also works great for button bands, collars, hoods or other areas wihere both sides will show.  And it makes fabulous color work blankets with no floats waiting to be snagged!  If you can knit 1×1 ribbing you are ready to learn basic two-color, negative mirror-image, stockinette-on-both-sides double knitting.

Jolie’s class is graciously sponsored by BERROCO.  All students taking this class receive a BONUS gift.

Level:  All levels. Students should already know how to increase and decrease.  Picots are based on cabled cast-on and joining of modules involve ssk decreases.  Students should be comfortable doing slightly strange maneuvers.
