Class Title: Bargello for Beginners
Teacher Name: Elaine Belfer Raucher
Class Length: 3 hours
Class Fee: $40.00
Class Day/Time: Friday 2:00PM to 5:00PM
Class Description:
Bargello is the forgotten art of eye-popping color needle work from the 60’s and 70’s. Originating in the Bargello Palace in Florence, Italy, bargello needlework is really a simple pattern repeat that is easy to learn and fun to craft.
In this class, students will learn the art of bargello using needlepoint techniques and bold color threads. This class is perfect for the person who has never worked with a needle, thread or canvas or for the experienced needle pointer looking to create something different. We will make this lovely bargello picture (shown in the frame) in class.
