Elaine is a self-taught crocheter and took up crochet 15 years ago as a way to do something creative and use her brain while her daughters were watching all those kids shows on TV. An accomplished crocheter of blankets, large and small, she created her first C2C graphgan from a logo 3 years ago for a grief counseling center after the loss of her 14 year old daughter. A member of several knit and crochet groups at the Jersey Shore, Elaine can also sew and needlepoint, including bargello. In her other life, Elaine is the CFO of her family owned manufacturing company.

She lives in Asbury Park, NJ with her husband and teenage daughter.
