Class Description:
Brioche knitting creates such a fun, unique fabric that provides ample opportunity to play with and combine colors. In this workshop we will discuss choosing colors for your brioche projects and how different kinds of yarns will impact your knitting. Then we will look at adding more colors to your knits, briefly touching on one- and two-color brioche, before looking at multiple techniques to add a third color.
Students must be comfortable with basic brioche knitting
Level: ADVANCED
Registration necessary, class size limited to 8
Supplies Needed:
- 6 balls of DK or worsted weight yarn in at least 3 colors in a range of intensities from light to dark (stash leftovers are great, solids or semisolids are recommended)
- 16 inch US 8/5.0mm circular needles or size appropriate for your yarn
- a second set of circular needles in the same size of any length
- stitch markers
