Class Description:
In this hands on class you will learn marbling techniques to create one of a kind fabrics you can use in quilting, fiber arts & mixed media. Play with color & pattern to create contemporary & traditional designs that are uniquely yours. Learn about a variety of products that work for both fabric & paper marbling & how to troubleshoot issues you may encounter.
This class is not only a great opportunity to learn marbling, but also a chance to build your fabric stash with your own one of a kind fabrics. You will have the opportunity to use high quality textile paints, marbling tools & the colors of your choice. No marbling experience required.

Registration necessary, class size limited 15
Supplies Needed:
Marbling can be messy and you may also spend most of the class on your feet. Bring an apron and/or appropriate clothing including comfortable shoes.
Rag/hand towel
Scissors – smaller is usually better to trim threads
Paper/pen for notes
Materials Fee: $60.00 – includes over 25 colors of textile paints, brushes, marbling tools, carrageenan, trays and pre-treated fabric. Each student will be able to produce approx 15 pieces of fabric 9 x 15 inches. Additional pre-treated fabric will be available to purchase if they find they have time to create additional pieces.- Payable to teacher in class.
