Melissa DeLisio is a fiber artist who practices a wide variety of surface design techniques including
marbling, hand painting, cyanotype and eco printing/dyeing. She has been marbling over 18 years. She
has appeared in 4 episodes of Quilting Arts TV and a variety of her surface design techniques have been
published in Quilting Arts Magazine, Mingle Magazine and Belle Amoire Magazine. While trained in
traditional marbling on both paper and fabric, she enjoys pushing the boundaries and exploring non-
traditional marbling techniques on fabric. Every piece of fabric she creates is one of a kind and many of
her designs are inspired by natural elements like water, trees and geodes. Melissa is also exploring ways
to add texture & dimension to fiber art projects with a variety of fibers, fusibles and heat. She enjoys
making fabric, teaching workshops and working with a variety of Guilds. Melissa lives in NE Ohio. You
