Class Description:
At some point whether you are knitting, crocheting, weaving, sewing, macraméing a garment or fashion accessory you will most likely need a button or many buttons. Even if you are making a doll, a junk journal, or many other crafty items you too may need buttons. Making a one-of-a-kind garment deserves a one-of-a-kind button. In this workshop you will learn how to make many different kinds of buttons. The techniques we will be using for most of them, you can continue to create on your own at your studio or at your home. We will be using wood, clay, paper, fabric and other materials using various techniques.
In the class we will only have time to make one of each button and there will be eight different types of buttons

Supplies Needed: Students will need to bring:
Fabric sheers
Materials Fee: $15 for the kit that includes everything you need to make all the jewelry pieces
Homework: None
