Class Description:
Come explore how Mini Shape Feltie Forms can be used to create an ethereal Mushroom House. You will see how the forms can be cut and shaped to make a mushroom cap and stem. You will have an opportunity to needle felt the mushroom with dyed roving before adding an embellished door or window. Yarns and additional roving will be used to created details to your enchanting mushroom home.
Level: ALL LEVELS
Registration necessary, class size limited 12
Supplies Needed: Students will need to bring:
Good sharp scissors. If participants have any felting tools such as Clover’s 3 or 5 needle tools, they can bring them.
Materials Fee: (payable to teacher) $25.00 – 1 Mini Feltie Form – round, 1 Mini Feltie Form – oval, core fiber (enough for project), 3 felting needles, wool roving (enough for project), bamboo skewer, 6″ x 6″ foam block, scrap fiber or yarns in green or earth tones
Homework: Participants should know how to use a felting needle and be able to handle wool fiber.
A 4.00 electronic administrative fee will be added for all online registration transactions.
An Admission ticket must be purchased to attend all classes
