Class Description:
Learn the basics of shuttle tatting and create a small motif that can be used to make a necklace or a handing ornament. We will use one shuttle and tatting cotton to learn the basic knotting technique that are the foundation of tatting. You will also learn to read a tatting pattern and other tips and tricks to build a good foundation to learn this vintage lacemaking technique. A brief history of tatting and lacemaking will also be presented.

Registration necessary, class size limited 12
Supplies Needed: Magnification and supplemental light if needed. We will be working with fine threads!
Materials Fee: $20.00 includes shuttle, tatting cotton, and pattern/instructions payable to instructor in class.
Homework: None
A 4.00 electronic administrative fee will be added for all online registration transactions.
