Class Description:
In this class we will begin with very basic, easy to crochet cable technique and apply this to forming the 4 Post Cable, the Wheat Cable, the Honeycomb Cable and the Braided Cable.
You will be amazed at how approachable these stitches are once they are demystified.
You will leave with completed swatches, written instructions and many ideas of how to incorporate these into your own designs.
Level: BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE: Can do basic crochet plus increase/decrease and follow basic patterns
Registration necessary, class size limited 20
Supplies Needed: Students will need to bring:
- 1 skein of worsted weight yarn in a LIGHT color. (Please no dark color yarns since this makes it more difficult to see our work)
- Crochet hook you typically use for worsted weight yarn. Sizes H-K is preferred
Materials Fee: (payable to teacher): $0
Homework: None required.
