Class Title:  Historical Stitches – Intro to Berlin Wool Work

Class Day/Time:  Sunday, 9:00Am to Noon

Class Description:

Spend a relaxing morning learning about the basics of Berlin Wool Work with Stuart Moores Textiles’ plant dyed wool embroidery floss and fabric. We will cover all of the basic stitches and techniques necessary to create a small motif inspired by 19th century Berlin Wool Work patterns in class. Each student will learn the basic skills to become proficient at cross stich and needlepoint with wool embroidery floss.


Level:  BEGINNER


Registration necessary, class size limited 12


Supplies Needed:  Students will need to bring:

  • A pair of thread snips
  • A par of tweezers
  • A craft light and glasses
  • A seat cushion if needed to sit for a long time

Materials Fee: (payable to teacher)  $35.00 payable to the teacher in class.  


Homework:  None


A $4.00 electronic administrative fee will be added for all online registration transactions.
