Add sparkle and texture to your crochet with beads! In this class, you will learn how to incorporate beads into any crochet project. By the end of class, you’ll have the knowledge and confidence to experiment with beads and create stunning, personalized pieces of wearable art.
The class will cover a range of topics, including selecting appropriate yarn and beads, understanding different bead sizes and types, and mastering basic crochet stitches necessary for working with beads. Learn how to read beaded crochet patterns enabling you to create complex designs with confidence.
Throughout the class, you will have the opportunity to practice new skills with a make-and-take Beaded Bracelet. Whether you’re a beginner crocheter looking to add a new dimension to your work or an experienced crafter seeking to expand your skills, this class offers something for everyone interested in crochet with beads.
Optional Class Project Kit available for purchase from the instructor.

Supplies Needed: Students will need to bring:
- Yarn. 5 gm (27 yards) of fingering weight yarn, in a center pull ball. Suggested 1 skein 100% mercerized number 5 Perle Cotton
- Beads. 9 gm size 6/0 beads. Suggested Japanese Glass Beads
- Bracelet clasp. Suggested Hook and Eye
- Crochet Hook US B/1 (2.25mm) hook or steel crochet hook
- Notions bag, tapestry needle, removeable stitch markers and scissors
- Notetaking tools. Pencil and paper for notes.
Materials Fee: (payable to teacher) Optional class project kit available for purchase from the instructor
Homework: None required.
