Class Title: Slow Stitching
Teacher Name: Bev Beatty
Class Length: 3 hours
Class Fee: $40.00
Class Day/Time: Saturday, 9:00AM to Noon
Class Description:
Slow stitching is a sewing technique that uses scraps of fabric, lace, ribbon, and other embellishments along with some embroidery stitches. It may be used to make patches, pins, or framed artwork. It is different from embroidery because pieces are sewn together free style with no printed patterns on the material. This allows for creative stitching and promotes mindfulness in that sewing is accomplished at a slower, deliberate pace. Participants will choose their background fabric and the additional fabric and items they wish to use for their project. Small items will be attached with Pellon before stitching
