Class Description:
Slow stitching is an embroidery technique that uses scraps of fabric, lace, and other embellishments to make patches, pins, or framed artwork. The fabric pieces are sewn together free style with no printed patterns on the base material. This allows for creative stitching and promotes mindfulness in that the sewing is accomplished at a slower, deliberate pace. Participants will choose their background fabric as well as embellishments for their project.
Level: ALL LEVELS
Registration necessary, class size limited 12
Supplies Needed: Students will need to bring:
- Sharp Scissors
- Needle Threader – if you have trouble threading a needle
Materials Fee: (payable to teacher) $7.00 for needles, embellishments, embroidery floss, fabric, fusible Pellon and frame.
Homework: None
A 4.00 electronic administrative fee will be added for all online registration transactions.
An Admission ticket must be purchased to attend all classes
