Class Description:
Learn the “language” of Japanese charts and you will never want to go back. The brilliant Japanese system has led to the development of stunningly beautiful stitch techniques that any intermediate skilled knitter can access and perform perfectly. Students will learn the Japanese charting system, how to read the charts and execute the stitches involved, how to add the charted elements to embellish knitted garments and will start a charted sampler piece in class and receive a copy of the Japanese Stitch pattern book of their choice.
Level: INTERMEDIATE
Registration necessary, class size limited 20
Supplies Needed: Students will need to bring:
US size 7 needles, cable needle and stitch markers
Materials Fee: (payable to teacher) $55.00. Includes yarn and pattern for the sample piece, book of choice
Homework: Complete project after class.
A $4.00 electronic administrative fee will be added for all online registration transactions.
An Admission ticket must be purchased to attend all classes
