Class Description:
Learn all things cable: the different types from the simplest 1 over 1 to giant crosses supported with short rows; how to execute them perfectly, how to read and understand the charts so you don’t need the pattern, how to read your knitting to avoid mistakes, reversible cables, when to use them to their best advantage and when to avoid them. Students will start a cabled headband in class from provided kit and leave with an original reversible cable afghan pattern.
Leave confident in your ability to construct cables and add them at will to embellish your knitting projects.
Level: BEGINNER
Registration necessary, class size limited 30
Supplies Needed: Students will need to bring:
US size 8 needles and a cable needle
Materials Fee: (payable to teacher) $30.00. Includes headband kit with pattern and hand dyed, superwash merino/cashmere/nylon yarn, afghan pattern
Homework: Complete project after class.
A $4.00 electronic administrative fee will be added for all online registration transactions.
