I have just returned from vacation (Ann) to find that all Barb did while I was away was play with her new kitten! Which means, I have twice the amount of work to do now! Actually, Barb was busy, she was working on the Block Party and Special Events Schedule.
We are pleased to be adding a beautiful installation. The installation is a three dimensional quilt titled “Remember Me”. This quilt is making a last stop at the Festival before becoming a permanent display at the National 911 Memorial & Museum in New York City. Remember Me is dedicated to those who perished on 911 and includes each persons name. We are honored to have this as part of our multiple exhibitions. Stop by the Maker Space to meet Carol Mesimer from Clover, USA who created this. Carol will also be offering several make and take demos each day.
Here is a delightful photo from Ann’s trip to Santo Domingo, Domincan Republic for their February Carnival Celebration.
