Support Project Linus

Members of the local chapter of Project Linus will be on hand to teach you how to crochet an edge on their fleece blankets.  They will bring all the supplies for you to help them complete blankets for ill/traumatized children. Stop by the Community Room and finish a blanket for Project Linus.

Project Linus is a national charity with a two-fold mission: 1) to provide new, handmade blankets to ill/traumatized children and 2) to provide a worthwhile activity in the community for interested volunteers. To date, Project Linus has distributed approximately 9,500,000 blankets. The Pittsburgh chapter has distributed over 224,000 blankets since 1998.
