Barb is away so I am taking over the newsletter. As usual, when Barb is out of town I raid her stash and have some great giveaways. But before I do that, it is time for MY review of Barb’s class selections for the 2020 Festival. I still have a hard time understanding why she chooses the ones she does, but perhaps it is my lack of knowledge with knitting, crocheting, sewing….? So here goes!
Virus Stitch with Cindie Bennett: Well this one is not too tough to figure out, it is cold and flu season, but for crying out loud why spread the germs?
Berry Scarf with Laura Barker: I have worked with different crafts and some paints and glues can get messy, but wow, working with berries is sure to create a mess!
Jelly Roll Rug with Laura Barnes: Another one, isn’t this class bound to get messy and sticky?
Hairpin Lace Crochet with Laura Regan: It must be a very tiny stitch to fit around a hairpin. Bring your reading glasses for this one.
Alcohol Ink Painting with Bev Beatty: Now this is a class I can wrap my head around. I really don’t think anyone can be critical of what your painting looks like after having some alcohol! Bring on the Rum!!
