Jennifer Drake Phillips
Jennifer was born and raised in NW Pennsylvania. We raise a beautiful flock of Dorset and Rare Leicester Longwool Sheep and a couple of Angora Bunnies as well.
I’ve been working with yarns since I was very young. Crocheting, Knitting and Tatting early on, I started Spinning in 2007, then added Primitive Knitting. We started Bare Woollies Homespun Yarns in 2009.
I am an active member of the NW PA Spinners and Weavers Guild since 2007. Our guild spent the summer of 2011 teaching Weaving, Spinning and Natural Dyeing to children at Camp Stone. An article about our time there was published in the Jan/Feb 2012 issue of Handwoven Magazine.
I was given the designation of Master Spinner for my work there. Over the years I am proud to have taught over 700 students.
