Heather Moore began her journey into crochet designing because she believes in the importance and the heritage of fiber arts. She first learned to crochet from her Grandmother and has always enjoyed teaching others. With 13 years of work in the beauty, fashion, art education and design industry, she wants to bring her knowledge of fiber arts into the hands of everyone in an easy and approachable way. While Heather enjoys spinning, weaving, knitting and felting, crochet is the what she is most passionate about. In 2014 she opened a fiber arts studio and began designing crochet patterns while teaching others to do the same. Her local crochet group, Knots of Love, works closely with local charities to create hats and wigs for children in need. All of Heather’s work is inspired by the world around us and the life we live. Creating for practical necessity and original beauty is most important to her.
