Edith is a retired Home Economics teacher for the Pittsburgh Public Schools and also a paraprofessional for the North Hills school district.  She also taught adult education classes or 20+ years in quilting, sewing, tatting and crocheting.  Edith taught classes in sewing stores, quilting shops and Community College.

Edith entered a group made quilt into the American Heritage Fiber Hand Quilted Quilt contest and the Quilt won 2nd Place at the National level.  It was her job to had quilt and finish the quilt.  She also pieced it together.
