Class Description:
Add color to your Tunisian Crochet projects! Colorwork is a great way to customize your projects. Work in Tunisian Simple Stitch and learn how and when to change colors. You’ll learn horizonal, vertical and intarsia color changes. We’ll focus on strand management and neat and tidy color changes with no holes.
This is a skill-building class with a make-and-take class project. Each coaster uses a different color work technique. Students should know how to Tunisian Crochet. Bring three colors of yarn for the most hands-on practice. Understand the characteristics of Tunisian Crochet colorwork, avoid common pitfalls and pick colors that pop!
By the end of class, you’ll be ready to make ANY color work project! Optional Class Project Kit available for purchase from the instructor.

Registration necessary, class size limited 25
Supplies Needed: Students will need to bring:
- Yarn. Three colors of yarn. Suggested, 4 Medium Weight Yarn in a light, medium and dark color.
- Tunisian Crochet Hook. Suggested, USH-8 (5mm) hook or the size that works with your yarn. Some Tunisian Hooks have a cord with a stopper or a hook on both ends, both hook styles will work for class.
- Notions bag. Tapestry needle, removable stitch markers and scissors.
- Notetaking tools. Pencil and paper.
Materials Fee: (payable to teacher) Optional class project kit available for purchase from the instructor
Homework: None required.
A 4.00 electronic administrative fee will be added for all online registration transactions.
