Supplies Needed: Students need to bring the following:
(3) 1/2 yard prints for woven pillow top. Solids or small scale prints work best. Look for good contrast in color or value between fabrics
1 fat quarter pillow back
1 16″ square pillow form
1 nylon sipper, at least 16″ long (can be longer)
Optional: Pom-pom trim: 2 yard
1/2″ thick foam core board, 20″ x 30″. Available at Michaels
Straight pins, at least 100.
Fine tipped black Sharpie or black ink pen. Painter’s tape
Materials Fee: $24 includes pattern and weaving tool
o Cut each 1/2 yard piece of fabric into 2 inch x WOF (width of fabric) strips (9 per 1/2 yard.)
o Press each strip in half the long way, wrong sides together. Open up strip. On both long sides of each strip, press the fabric to the wrong side, so that the edges meet in the center of the strip that you just pressed. Each strip should now measure 1 inch wide x width of fabric. Repeat for remaining (2) 1/2 yard pieces of fabric. If you have a 1″ wide Clover bias tape maker, this will speed up the process!
A 3.00 electronic administrative fee will be added for all online registration transactions.
An Admission ticket must be purchased to attend all classes
