Class Description:
Bring your “A” GAME of thinking outside the box for this fun class! You don’t even need to know how to crochet to join. We will explore many ways of upscaling and transforming denim (primarily jackets) using crochet samples – either from your stash, or even sourced from antique or thrift stores. I will be bringing tools for connecting pearls and gems that can be added as additional accents.

Supplies Needed: Students will need to bring:
Students should bring at least one denim jacket, preferably one that you will feel free to experiment. I highly recommend looking in thrift or discount stores (Charlotte Russe is a great source for new inexpensive varieties). You will also need crochet samples (again, antique stores are wonderful sources, or you can crochet your own samples), edging, or anything else you would consider attaching to a denim jacket.
Materials Fee: (payable to teacher): $15.00
Homework:
View video that will be sent ahead of time to give you inspiration before class. (We will be sending this out sometime after registration closes.) This will give you ideas as to what you may wish to crochet for your denim jacket. You should complete your crochet pieces (if needed) and have them blocked and ready to go for class.
A 4.00 electronic administrative fee will be added for all online registration transactions.
