Class Description:
Learn the Reversible Moroccan Tile Stitch. It’s a stunning 2-color crochet stitch pattern. The fabric is lofty, warm and completely reversible. With only double crochet and chain stitches it’s easy and fun to make. My favorite part is that you only work with one color at a time, there’s no tagalong strand or tangled mess! We’ll talk about published patterns that use this stitch and how to incorporate it into your projects!
Use class yarn for lots of hand-on practice. You’ll learn both In-the-Round and flat. There are a couple tricks for seamless color changes. If you lose your place on the written pattern, you’ll know how to read your work without ripping out. Finish with a beautiful edge-treatment. As part of the bonus material, learn how swap out this stitch pattern in your favorite project or design something custom!
By the end of class, you’ll be eager to pick project yarn to make something special with the Moroccan Tile Stitch.

Supplies Needed: Students will need to bring:
- Yarn. Two Colors. Suggested, 4 Medium Weight Yarn. A light and a dark color. Sample shown with a solid (orange) and a long color change variegated (purple) yarns.
- Crochet Hook. Suggested, USH-8 (5mm) hook.
- Notions bag.
- Tapestry needle,
- removable stitch markers
- scissors.
- Notetaking tools. Pencil and paper.

Homework: None required.
