Class Description:
In this class, you will learn to sew Easy to make triangle bags, and conquer your fear of zippers. These bags make great gifts and are multi-purpose bags. There will be more than enough time to complete an entire set of three, so you might want to bring an extra set to work on. They are addictive to make!
Level: All levels, beginner friendly
Registration necessary, class size limited
Pfaff sewing machines will be provided for you in class by Thornton Co.
An iron, ironing mat, cutting mat and rotary cutters will be available for use in class, however, plan to bring a pair of scissors and pins to class also.
Supplies Needed:
- 2 fat quarters, thread to match
- ½ yard 2 sided fleece
- 3 zippers (1) 9” and (2) 7”
- Pins, scissors
- Chopstick or purple thang
Materials Fee: None
Homework:
Precut fabrics and fleece
Stack fat quarters, 1 is your main fabric, 1 is your lining
Cut:
- (1) 8 x 15 (will yield 2)
- (1) 6 x 11 (will yield 2)
- (1) 4 x 7 (will yield 2)
- (2) 2 x 10 of main fabric only
- Fleece: (1) 8 x 15, (1) 6 x 11, (1) 4 x 7
