Class Title: Finishing Techniques
Teacher Name: Kimberly McAlindin
Class Length: 3 Hours
Class Fee: $65.00
Class Day/Time: Saturday, 2:00PM to 5:00PM
Class Description:
Learning to knit is an amazing adventure, once you have mastered the knit and the purl stitch there is an entire world out there of amazing fabric projects at your fingertips. One of the things I find knitters ask me most often once they reach this stage is: how do I put pieces together, how do I weave my ends in so that they won’t come undone and is there a way to fix something in my knitting that I don’t like? This class will go over the following techniques:
-casting on with a crochet hook-joining new yarn (thick and thin)
-weaving in ends
-seaming
-binding off including my fabulous in the round invisible technique.
-there is a Q & A where I ask the students what they are having trouble with and I adjust the class to fit the needs of the students.
