Class Description:

In this class we will cover may different crochet cables, some using post stitches (Wheat Cable, 4-Post Cable, Honeycomb cable and Celtic Weave), and some that are worked vertically (Cable Stitch, Arrow Stitch, Low Front Ridge and Knurl).  You will be amazed at how easy it can be to make these beautiful crocheted textures using the crochet hook and stitches you already love.  You will leave with many new swatches, written instructions and ideas of how to combine these together into beautiful cabled designs.

Prerequisite: Crocheter should already be familiar with the basic crochet stitches:  chain, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, half-double crochet and treble crochet.

Level:  INTERMEDIATE:  Beginner level plus increase/decrease and follow basic patterns

Registration necessary, class size limited 15

Supplies Needed:  Students will need to bring:

Students should bring enough yarn from their yarn stash to complete approximately 9 small swatches./ This can be all one color and size or a variety of yarns.

You will also need the appropriate hook sizes to match the yarn you bring.

Light colored and larger size yarns (worsted or DK weight yarn) work best when learning these new stitches

Materials Fee: (payable to teacher)  None  Students will be emailed worksheet to be downloaded on electronic device and/or printed out by student prior to class.

Homework:  None

A 4.00 electronic administrative fee will be added for all online registration transactions.

An Admission ticket must be purchased to attend all classes
