Officially called a “knot doll”, which dates back to early Colonial Days. This doll is knotted and not stitched, but Lisa does like to stitch a few things here and there. What you decide to do will be up to you, the creator. Finished she is 10″ tall. In class, you will be provided all the materials you need to make a great heirloom doll including the pattern. There are various skin tones to choose from. Kits will also inlcude hundreds of vintage, repurposed and new fabrics to choose from.
The class also includes a visit from “The Mobile Museum of Sewing”

Registration necessary, class size limited 12
Supplies Needed: Students will need to bring:
Fabric sheers and a rotary cutter (mats are provided)
Materials Fee: $15 for the kit that includes everything you need to make the “knot doll”
Homework: No homework, unless you would like to bring specific fabrics, beads or embellishments you would like to incorporate with the ones provided in the kit.
A 3.00 electronic administrative fee will be added for all online registration transactions.
