Class Description:

Learn the fundamentals of lace by knitting an array of patterns that repeat only four (4) rows!

We’ll work on four row sample pieces to help you learn lace stitches and see what occurs when increases and decreases create stunning lace pattern repeats.  Create a scarf, a shawl, or incorporate it into your own design!

Learn to INCREASE, DECREASE, and to do combinations of INCREASES and DECREASES.  Learn to Read a Pattern, Repeat Patterns, Review a Chart and Learn to Read a Yarn Label and know what it means.

Students must know how to knit, purl, cast on and cast off.

Registration necessary, class size limited to 20

Supplies Needed: Students need to bring the following:

• Worsted Weight Yarn, Smooth, Solid Color
• Size 8 (5mm) Knitting Needles (Straight or Circular)
• Stitch Markers
