Class Description:
We’ve all done it. We’ve all made mistakes in our knitting that just can’t be missed or overlooked. From that pesky dropped stitch that’s staring at you from MANY rows back to realizing TOO late that your project is now several inches longer than you needed it. And let’s not talk about the mis-crossed cable on that sleeve. AAAHHH!!
Don’t panic! You CAN fix them and it’s NOT as hard as you might think. From learning the proper way to pick up those dropped stitches to picking up an entire row of stitches, there are ways to fix it without having to frog the entire project. Let’s explore them together in this class.
Level: ALL LEVELS
Registration necessary, class size limited 12
Supplies Needed: Students will need to bring:
- Crochet hook – G or H
- DK or Worsted weight scrap yarn – different color than used
- Yarn scissors
- Yarn needle Knitting needle used for swatches
- Spare needle one or two sizes smaller than used
- Cable needle
Materials Fee: (payable to teacher): $0
Homework:
Student will need to bring 3 or 4 stockinette swatches knit with DK or Worsted weight yarn with them to practice on – 20 sts X 40 rows DO NOT bind off stitches!
