Class Description:

The Estonian stitches of nupps, star stitches and clusters add texture and interest to your knitting.

Often found in lace patterns, these stitches can be tricky. Join us as we learn a few different ways to work these interesting stitches while knitting a lace scarf.

Level: INTERMEDIATE Beginner level plus increase/decrease and follow basic patterns.  Prerequisite:  should already know how to knit in the round

Registration necessary, class size limited to 15

Supplies Needed: 

• Smooth, light colored fingering weight yarn
• Working knitting needles for yarn – size 3 or 4 for most knitters (Note:  lace tipped needles are strongly recommended)
• Cable needle
• Crochet hook in one size smaller than working needles
• One DPN in 2 sizes smaller than working needles (optional)

Materials Fee: None

Homework:  Provisional cast on and beginning of scarf. Homework will be provided prior to class

An Admission ticket must be purchased to attend all classes
