Class Description:

Do you want to learn some history about English Paper Piecing and how Lucy Boston made it popular today?  Dee will show you how easy it is to use traditional hand sewing skills just as Lucy did to make a start on a block for yourself. There are many forms and uses for the “olde world” skill that would allow you to  make beautiful things today and Dee will show some samples.

She will also discuss several of the way paper piecing can be done so you will be able to choose which works best for you.  You are only limited by your imagination.

Kit will be available for $10.00 from instructor.

Sewing Machines will be provided by PFAFF/Thornton & Co


Level:  ALL LEVELS Class is of interest to all regardless of skill level

Registration necessary, class size limited 20

Supplies Needed:  Students will need to bring:

Fabric scissors, thread snips, Sharps (type of needle) needles size 7-9, thimble as needed, paper/pencil for notes, “old thread” ie: old bobbins or spools of thread.

Materials Fee: (payable to teacher)  $10.00 for Kit with class materials

Homework:  None

A 3.00 electronic administrative fee will be added for all online registration transactions.

An Admission ticket must be purchased to attend all classes
