Class Description:

You know you “feel better” after you have worked on your project – that satisfied feeling is almost universal.  In this class you will learn WHY we feel better and some of the brain science.  Maybe you feel stuck and stale.  Explore the mystery of inspiration and the satisfaction of creativity.  How do you have a deeper experience when mistakes and frustration happen?  By the end of the class, you will have a tool-box full of practical strategies to get unstuck and get more of the satisfied feeling.

The strategies and materials presented ay be applied to any craft  Participation is open to all disciplines. During the class, we will craft and share creative space. Bring a small, portable project to work on like hand quilting, sketch book & color pencils, yarn and supplies etc.  You are welcome to bring what inspires you:  a journal, a small, special item or your favorite book.

Registration necessary, class size limited 30

Supplies Needed:  Students will need to bring:

Learning tools – pencil and paper

Bring a small portable project – hand quilting, sketch book & colored pencils, yarn and supplies, embroidery, etc

You are welcome to bring what inspires you:  a journal, a small, special item or your favorite book

Materials Fee: (payable to teacher)  None

Homework:  Optional:  Think about when you are working on a project. Do you feel better when you are done?  Does that feeling happen every time you work on a project?
