Oh, the things you can do with Stitch Fiddle online! This tool can enhance all crafts – knitting, crochet, embroidery, needlepoint, bargello, cross stitch, latch-hook and quilting designs.
Still working with markers and paper to design color patterns? Stitch Fiddle’s online tool can change that. This class will introduce you to Stitch Fiddle Online – We will design color patterns for blankets, scarfs and sweaters and use these patterns in your work. Learn to choose yarn colors using their extensive fiber database. Size your project using the online gauge tool. Upload logos or photos and easily tweak them to your projects. Print (PDF) these patterns in 3 different ways to use while stitching or use the online pattern tool to keep track of your progress.

Students can use the free or paid online Stitch Fiddle program. The teacher has no affiliation with Stitch Fiddle, it’s just something I use often in my graphgan projects.
Students must know their craft in order to design, color and stitch patterns.
Students must bring a WI-FI enabled computer to class – a laptop or chromebook is best. An iPad or iPhone will also work, but the bigger screen, the better. Bring a mouse or stylus to ‘paint’ with. Bring a simple craft pattern to work with – a few simple colors and easy repeat stitches are best to start.
