Class Description:

Join Maureen to learn the fun, creative technique of creating a collage quilt!  Using background fabric, double sided fusible, and fussy cutting, Maureen will take you through the steps pattern designer, Laura Heine, has provided in her funky, layered piece, “Making Fish”. How to make smart fabric choices, how to properly use fusible, and instruction for how to complete the piece will be provided. After learning this surprisingly simple technique, you will be able to create any one of Laura’s increasingly popular patterns, or even create your own! No sewing machine needed for this class- everything is fused with with an iron!

Level:  All levels

Registration necessary, class size limited to 20

Supplies Needed:  Rotary cutting materials (rotary cutting mat, rotary cutting ruler at least 5” wide, and rotary cutter)

Materials Fee: $28.50 payable to teacher in class (class kit includes fusible interfacing, background material, fish material, and fish drawing)

Homework:  None

An Admission ticket must be purchased to attend all classes
