Class Description:
Wool is very forgiving and a great medium for “painting pictures” In this class you will learn how to use a dry felting process to attach wool to a background. How to use the tools & fibers needed will be explained. You will also learn to belnd colors together for shading and adding texture and dimension to your landscape. Your finished piece can be framed or used as an embellishment on a bag or jacket. Kits for the project and additional fibers, needles and felting supplies will be available during the class.

If you have a wool allergy, this may not be a suitable class.

Supplies Needed: Students need to bring the following:
All materials will be provided in the kit. However, you can bring extra felting needles size 38 and 40 (optional). If you have multi-needle tools, that would be very helpful and they will also be available for purchase.
Materials Fee: $20.00 Payable to teacher in class.
Kit includes: 5″ x 5″ foam pad, 2 different sizes felting needles, background fabric and all fiber to complete the project and handouts
Homework: None
