Knitting with Margaret
with Margaret Fisher
Friday PM & Saturday PM
After learning the “Seven Things” techniques in the morning class, work them in your current knitting project. For this afternoon session, bring a sweater/project that you are working on now, or start the “Seven Things” Baby Cardi in Margaret’s book. Either way, Margaret will be happy to discuss how to apply the techniques to your specific project. Margaret believes that “knitting is about choices” and she will guide you through your decisions in your project. This is your chance to put the knitting theory into practice and have all your questions answered. Have fun learning and knitting in this low-key session. Note: The “Seven Things” Baby Cardi is divided into seven parts which correspond to the seven techniques covered in the morning session.
Supplies: Bring a sweater or other project that you are currently knitting (along with the pattern, yarn, needles, and anything else you need to work on the project). Or, bring the book Seven Things that can “Make or Break” a Sweater® and the materials for the “Seven Things” Baby Cardi on page 79.
Homework: None.
