Class Description: Learn the fascinating technique of Tunisian Crochet Entrelac. This method of making small squares in sequence only looks complicated – you can easily create lovely woven-look, color-shifting projects without having to weave in miles of ends! The technique is taught on a potholder project, which will be completed in class. Adapting the technique for blankets and other project types will also be reviewed.
Students should have beginner level knowledge of Tunisian crochet, or have taken Introduction to Tunisian Crochet.
Level: Beginner and above
Registration necessary, class size limited to 20
Supplies Needed: Worsted-weight yarn (slow-color-changing yarn recommended, such as Noro or Red Heart Unforgettable), size J crochet hook. Choose 100% non-superwash wool if you wish to felt your potholder after class, A special Tunisian hook is not required for this class, any standard hook with a straight smooth shaft may be used (no thick or shaped handles).
Materials Fee: $5.00 (handout and potholder pattern) payable to instructor in class
