Class Description:

Want to make a enjoyable yet breathtaking project?  Let’s take this popular design from quilting and experience Leslye’s special techniques to make it.   In this relaxed and easy class, you will learn how to make this square and the magical way to join all the squares together with garter stitch sashing so it is invisibly all one piece

Level: All levels

Registration necessary, class size limited to 30

Supplies Needed:

Kureyon yarn, size 8 needles.

One ball of solid colored, smooth, yarn that would knit at 3.5 stitches to the inch (14 st to 4”)

Materials Fee: none


Piece 1: Using any color of Noro’s Kureyon, cast on 15 stitches and knit for 39 rows.  Keep the stitches on needles.

Piece 2:  Using the solid light colored yarn, cast on 20 sttiches.  Garter stitch for 5 rows.  Mark this as the 5 row sample.  Place on holder.

Piece 3:  Using a solid light colored yarn, cast on 20 stitches and garter stitch for 6 rows.  Place on holder.
