Class Title:  Entrelac Cowl – in the Round

Class Day/Time:  Friday, 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm

Class Description:

Entrelac is a knitting technique used to create a textured interwoven pattern. While the end result resembles basket-woven strips of knitted fabric, the actual material comprises interconnected rectangles on two different orientations.

Students will work Entrelac Knitting in the round to make a Cowl and have the skills to make other Entrelac projects: handbags, socks,  boot toppers…

Level: Intermediate

Registration necessary, class size limited to 12

Supplies Needed:

1 – Size 10 – 20-24 inch circular needle.

Any worsted weight yarn that has a long color change (a color that continues on for several yards before changing to the next color such as Wisdom yarn in Poems) or two skeins of worsted wt. yarn (one in a dark color and one in a light color – Must be noticeable difference between the two colors. Do not bring variegated).

Regular notions such as ring markers, scissors and needle.
