Evening and Special Events

Friday Evening: Knit the Bridge Lounge and Reception:  7:30 PM

Friday Evening we will kick off the Knit the Bridge Lounge in the Atrium with a brief presentation from the Fiber Arts Guild Members. We will plan to Knit and Crochet until ? and will have panels on display that have been made. You can learn more about Knit the Bridge by visiting www.knitthebridge.wordpress.com. The hotel will provide snacks, and beverages available for purchase, with coffee and hot chocolate available too. Our sponsors will provide yarn for you to use, but please plan to bring your own needles and hooks. There is no charge for the evening, however, please RSVP so the hotel knows how many to expect.

 

Come see the magic of Mochimochi at our Friday night reception

Anna Hrachovec makes her Festival debut in a big way: We’re displaying TWO of her Mochimochi-themed installations, which have previously only been seen at such events as Vogue Knitting Live and at the Lion Brand Yarn Studio: Mochimochimochimochimochi (pictured) and Mochimochi Land.

Anna herself will be on hand with her books and a brief presentation at the Friday evening Knit the Bridge kick-off party. We’re covering it all, from the teeny tiny Mochimochis to the grand Knit the Bridge project!

 

Saturday:  PJ Party at 9:00 PM

Saturday Evening, StevenBe will join us again with his latest designs and fun activities. He will continue the Knit the Bridge frenzy and we will again have panels on display. We are also inviting you to wear your latest  garments and wearables for an interactive show and tell. Plan to wear your PJ’s and knitted socks as we Knit and Crochet ALL NIGHT !! There is no charge for the evening, however, please RSVP so the hotel knows how many to expect.

There is no additional charge for either Friday or Saturday evening activities, but please RSVP so we know how many to expect. Yarn will be provided for you to use both evenings for the panels, but please bring your own needles and hook. A day admission pass must be purchased in order to participate in the evening activities.
