Class Description:

Add some sparkle and shine to your knitting! Beads can add a touch elegance to shawls, hats, cowls, fingerless mitts, well, anything. In this class we will learn two methods of incorporating beads into your knitting.

Topics include bead selection, yarn selection, how to slip a bead, how to place a bead, the pros and cons of each method and much more!

The class project is a beaded cuff bracelet that you can knit it a few hours and then wear it with pride or gift it to someone special! Basic knitting skills needed for class.

Registration necessary, class size limited to 16

Supplies Needed: US 2 needles (DPN, circular, or straight – DPN preferred) and .75mm crochet hook. Needles and hooks will be available for purchase in class.

Materials Fee:  $15.00,  for yarn, 2 sizes of Japanese glass beads, bracelet clasp, beading needle and pattern booklet, payable to instructor in class.

Homework:  None

A 3.00 electronic administrative fee will be added for all online registration transactions.
