The swirl of the antique lace pattern is reminiscent of the Milky Way Galaxy. With its beautiful drape, it will flow and swirl around your shoulders as the Milky Way swirls around the heavens.
As some of you may or may not know I rarely knit a pattern exactly as written, that includes my own designs. Since this is a simple pattern to learn I will start the class by showing examples and teaching some of my inspired alternative decorative cast on techniques for changing the neck edge to make the capelet uniquely your own. You will also learn a brilliant technique to add beads as you go: no pre-stringing on your yarn, no crochet hook and portable with no spilled beads. Class suitable for intermediate knitter.
