Class Description:

Sometimes a pattern will tell you to increase without spelling out which increase to use or may suggest an increase, which is hard to work, or not visually pleasing.  In this class you will learn the 4 basic increase methods and 17 variations for working and pairing these increases.  You will begin creating a scarf containing 27 motifs, each containing a different combination of increases.  The finished scarf will serve as a quick reference guide for choosing or substituting an increase in future projects.  Class is suitable for Beginner to Advanced Knitter.

Registration necessary, class size limited to 20

Supplies Needed: 200 yards light colored worsted weight yarn, US size 8(5mm) needles, paper and pen for notes, extra yarn and needles for practicing, row counter (optional).

Materials Fee:  $5.00 includes Pattern and detailed handouts, payable to instructor in class.

Homework: None
